H Μάριαν γεννήθηκε στη Λευκωσία και μεγάλωσε στη Λεμεσό. Είναι πτυχιούχος της Νομικής σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, ορθοφωνίας & ελαφρού τραγουδιού, ανωτέρων θεωρητικών και πιάνου. Έγινε γνωστή στο ευρύ κοινό με την κυκλοφορία της dance version του  Κυπριακού παραδοσιακού τραγουδιού “Τα Ριάλια” το 2007, σε μία διασκευή των Valentino, Χριστόδουλου Σιγανού και Νίκου Σουλιώτη. Το τραγούδι κυκλοφόρησε σε cd-single από τη Minos-EMI και ήταν στις πρώτες θέσεις των Ελληνικών αλλά και βαλκανικών charts για αρκετές εβδομάδες. 

Τα επόμενα χρόνια προσπάθησε να επεκταθεί μουσικά και εκτός ελληνικών συνόρων και μετά από σκληρή δουλειά και προσπάθεια κατάφερε αρχές του 2011 να  κυκλοφορήσει το πρώτο της διεθνές αγγλικό single με τον τίτλο "November" από την διεθνούς εμβέλειας δισκογραφική εταιρεία Interscope. Το τραγούδι είναι η αγγλική version του Ιταλικού τραγουδιού "Novembre" που τραγούδησε για πρώτη φορά η Giusy Ferreri. Είναι σε μουσική του γνωστού Ιταλού δημιουργού Roberto Casalino και αγγλικούς στίχους της καταξιωμένης Ελληνίδας στιχουργού Bίκυς Γεροθόδωρου. 

Την επόμενη χρονιά κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο της Ιταλικό single από τη Universal Music Group με τον τίτλο “Abbracciami - Αυτό είναι αγάπη”, με τη συμμετοχή ενός από τους πιο επιτυχημένους Ιταλούς τραγουδοποιούς, του Roberto Casalino . 

Συνέχισε το επιτυχημένο μουσικό της ταξίδι στην Ιταλία, με την κυκλοφορία του ιταλικού ‘Vero’, ενός crossover τραγουδιού με τη συμμετοχή του γνωστού Αμερικανού τραγουδιστή από το group ‘Forte tenors’, Josh Page. Σε συνεργασία με το σπουδαίο Ιταλό δημιουργό Pietro Cremonesi, γνωστό σε μέσα από την διεθνή επιτυχία της  Laura Pausini,  ‘La solitudine’. 

Αργότερα συνεργάστηκε με τον Francesco Boccia, τον Ιταλό δημιουργό της διεθνούς επιτυχίας των Il volo, ‘Grande amore’, που διασκευάστηκε στα Ελληνικά από τον Αντώνη Ρέμο, στο τραγούδι ‘Roma – Atene’, ‘Ρώμη – Αθήνα’. 

Το τραγούδι κυκλοφόρησε σε δύο versions, την ιταλική και την ελληνοϊταλική από την Minos/EMI/Universal. Τους Ιταλικούς στίχους υπογράφει ο Francesco Boccia και τους Ελληνικούς στίχους η Βίκυ Γεροθόδωρου. Η μουσική γράφτηκε από τη Marian και τον Έλληνα συνθέτη Σπύρο Μεταξά. 

Ακολουθεί η μεγάλη συνεργασία με τον Έλληνα διεθνή τενόρο Μάριο Φραγκούλη και τον θρυλικό Ιταλό σταρ Gigi D’ Alessio στο τραγούδι «Μη λυγίσεις ποτέ – La soluzione». Η Marian υπογράφει το τραγούδι μουσικά μαζί με το Σπύρο Μεταξά ενώ έχει το concept, την καλλιτεχνική διεύθυνση και παραγωγή του project. 

Στη συνέχεια έρχεται η συνεργασία με την Ελληνίδα ερμηνεύτρια Καλλιόπη Βέττα και τη διεθνή Ιταλίδα σοπράνο Francesca Maionchi στο τραγούδι “Se non ritorni”. 

Συνεργάστηκε επίσης με την Ιταλίδα σταρ Raffaella Carrà, διασκευάζοντας μία από τις μεγαλύτερες επιτυχίες της στα Ιταλικά και Ελληνικά. Το τραγούδι αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει το καλοκαίρι. Συμμετείχε επίσης σε ένα από τα τελευταία αφιερωματικά άλμπουμ στο μεγάλο Έλληνα συνθέτη Μίκη Θεοδωράκη, ερμηνεύοντας το τραγούδι που γράφτηκε για την Κύπρο, το «Χρυσοπράσινο Φύλλο». 

Στις 18 Μαρτίου κυκλοφόρησε το “Vivo per te”, μία συνεργασία με τον διεθνούς φήμης Ιταλό δημιουργό και παραγωγό Marco Marinangeli που υπογράφει τη μουσική και τους Ιταλικούς στίχους του τραγουδιού. 

Την 1η Απριλίου κυκλοφόρησε η ισπανική version του τραγουδιού στην Ισπανία και τη  Λατινική Αμερική. Τους ισπανικούς στίχους έγραψε ο Μεξικανός βραβευμένος με Grammy συνθέτης και παραγωγός Manuel Herrera Maldonado.

Marian Georgiou was born in Nicosia, Cyprus and is currently living in Athens, Greece.  

She studied music at the Athens Conservatory and is a graduate of Law School from the "National University of Athens".  She took singing lessons at "Berklee College of Music", in Boston. She is an international artist, who sings in Italian, Greek, English and Spanish and was nominated to represent Greece and Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest four times. 

Marian became known to the public in 2007 after the release of her dance version of a traditional Cypriot song, ‘Ta Rialia’.  The cover of the song was in collaboration with Valentino, Christodoulos Siganos and Nikos Souliotis. The song was released as a single by Minos-EMI/Universal and successfully remained on the top of the music charts in Greece and the Balkans for numerous weeks.   

Following her success, Marian decided that she wanted to spread her wings beyond Greece and experiment musically in other countries.   

In 2011, after hard work, she released her first International single ‘November’ with the globally renowned record label Interscope.  It is an English cover of the Italian song ‘Novembre’, originally sung by Guisy Ferreri. The music was composed by the well-known Italian singer and composer Roberto Casalino and the English lyrics were written by the much-respected lyricist, Vicky Gerothodorou.  The song ‘November’ proved to be a success in Italy, Switzerland, France and other European countries.  

A year later Marian released her first Italian cd-single ‘Abbracciami-Αυτό είναι αγάπη’ (Hug me- This is Love), which featured Roberto Casalino, with whom she had collaborated for her previous single ‘November’.  The song ‘Abbracciami-Αυτό είναι αγάπη’ was released by Universal Music Group. It was a great achievement and opened doors for Marian in the Italian music scene and for various other collaborations.   

Marian's following project included the collaboration with Pietro Cremonesi, known to all for his song ‘La solitudine’, sung by Laura Pausini. 'Vero',  a crossover song, which features the well-known American tenor Josh Page, member of the group 'Forte Tenors'.  

Marian's next project ‘Roma – Atene’, was released by Universal Music. This project was a collaboration with Francesco Boccia, the Italian songwriter who wrote the great hit of Il Volo, ‘Grande amore’.  Marian and Francesco performed their song together. The song was released in two versions, one in Italian and the other both in Italian and Greek. The Italian lyrics have been written by Francesco Boccia and the Greek lyrics by Vicky Gerothodorou. The music was written by both the Greek composer Spiros Metaxas and Marian. 

Next comes the great collaboration with the Greek international tenor Mario Fragoulis and the legendary Italian star Gigi D'Alessio in the song "Mi ligiseis pote - La soluzione".  Marian signed the song musically along with Spiros Metaxas while being responsible for the concept, artistic direction and production of the project. 

Then comes the collaboration with the Greek performer Kalliopi Vetta and the international Italian soprano Francesca Maionchi in the song "Se non ritorni". 

Marian also collaborated with Italian star Raffaella Carrà, adapting one of her biggest hits in Italian and Greek.  The song is expected to be released this summer.

Marian also participated in one of the last tribute albums to the Great Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis, performing the song written for Cyprus, "Chrysoprasino Fyllo". 

On March 18, "Vivo per te" was released, a collaboration with the internationally renowned Italian songwriter and producer Marco Marinangeli who wrote the music and the Italian lyrics of the song. 

On April 1, the Spanish version of the song was released in Spain and Latin America.  The Spanish lyrics were written by Mexican Grammy-winning composer and producer Manuel Herrera Maldonado. 

Marian is currently working on various international projects, including the songs for the new international film "74", by Cypriot director Paul Lampis, featuring world-famous actors and singers.

Marian Georgiou nata a Nicosia, Cipro, vive ad Atene in Grecia. Ha studiato musica al Conservatorio di Atene e si è laureata in giurisprudenza presso l'Università Nazionale di Atene. Ha frequentato lezioni di canto presso il Berklee College of Music, a Boston. Artista internazionale, canta in italiano greco inglese e spagnolo, è stata nominata per rappresentare Grecia e Cipro all'Eurovision Song Contest quattro volte. 

Marian diviene nota al pubblico nel 2007 dopo l'uscita della sua versione da ballo di una canzone tradizionale cipriota, "Ta Rialia". Un anno dopo Marian pubblica il suo primo cd-italiano "Abbracciami - Afto ine agapi" . La canzone "Abbracciami - Afto ine agapi", distribuita da Universal Music Group, è  un grande successo che la introduce nel panorama musicale italiano con diverse collaborazioni. Marian ha collaborato anche con Pietro Cremonesi, noto a tutti per essere tra gli autori di "La solitudine", successo di Laura Pausini, mentre per 'Vero', una canzone crossover, è presente il famoso tenore americano Josh Page, membro del gruppo 'Forte Tenors'.

Il suo progetto successivo è la collaborazione con Francesco Boccia, il cantautore italiano che ha scritto il grande successo de Il Volo, "Grande amore", tradotta in greco da Antonis Remos.  Marian e Francesco si esibiscono insieme per cantarla. La canzone è pubblicata da Universal Music Grecia, in due versioni, una in italiano e l'altra in italiano e greco. I testi italiani sono di Francesco Boccia e i testi greci di Vicky Gerothodorou, mentre la musica è del compositore greco Spiros Metaxas e Marian.

Nel 2020 collabora con il tenore greco di fama internazionale Mario Frangoulis e Gigi D'Alessio nel brano 'Mi ligiseis pote - La soluzione' oltre che con l'artista greca Kalliopi Vetta e la soprano italiana Francesca Maionchi nel brano "Se non ritorni". Entrambi i brani sono stati prodotti sulla base del suo progetto di musica, direzione artistica e produzione.

Marian ha lavorato con il compositore greco di fama mondiale Mikis Theodorakis, di recente scomparso, eseguendo uno dei suoi grandi successi, in uno degli ultimi album celebrativi a lui dedicati, album che includeva la grande Milva, l'attrice greca Irene Papas, Melina Mercouri e altri grandi artisti del passato e del presente ed è rimasto a lungo ai primi posti nelle classifiche greche. 

Attualmente Marian sta lavorando a vari progetti internazionali tra cui la colonna sonora e le canzoni per il nuovo film internazionale "74", del regista cipriota Paul Lampis, con attori e cantanti di fama mondiale.
